Purpose of the Parish Council

The Parish Council work with our Parish Priest in encouraging and leading all parishioners in their journey of faith and in taking Christ's message of love and hope to the wider community and to the world.

The Parish Council meets 6 times a year and acts as the parish Finance Committee, with members making sure that the parish finances are used effectively and efficiently; they will see that maintenance issues are carried out and ideas are progressed.

Once a year the council reports to parishioners at an open parish meeting. The minutes from the previous council meeting and annual parish report are available at the back of church alongside the parish accounts.

To bring anything to the Parish Council's attention, please contact Father Nick Jennings on 01388 762724 or email olisc@diocesehn.org.uk  or speak with any council member.

To be a member of the Parish Council you must be appointed to the Parish Finance Committee by the Parish Priest
